Andrew Strom

Andrew Strom has been a labor lawyer since 1993.  He is Associate General Counsel of Service Employees International Union, Local 32BJ in New York, NY.  He is the author of Boeing and the NLRB:  A Sixty-Four Year-old Time Bomb Explodes, 68 National Lawyers Guild Review 109 (2011); U.S. Labor Law:  How the United States’ Stacked Labor Laws Make it Nearly Impossible for Workers to Gain Union Representation, Dollars and Sense, No. 249 at 46 (September/October 2003); and Rethinking the NLRB’s Approach to Union Recognition Agreements, 15 Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law 50 (1994).  He also taught advanced legal writing at Fordham Law School.  He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.  All of Mr. Strom’s posts are available here.  The views Andrew Strom expresses on this blog are solely his own, and should not be attributed to SEIU Local 32BJ.
